Independence Blue Cross (Independence) has contracted with One Pass to offer Medicare Advantage members a comprehensive fitness program that goes far beyond a gym membership at no additional cost.
Effective January 1, 2023, One Pass replaced the SilverSneakers® fitness program.
Providers are encouraged to share the many benefits provided through One Pass with their eligible patients, our members. The benefits include access to the largest Medicare Advantage fitness network with over 24,000 locations, participating gyms and local YMCAs, boutique and spinning studios, as well as yoga, Pilates, and virtual classes.
In addition, home fitness kits can be sent to Independence Medicare Advantage members who are not able to access a gym.
One Pass enables eligible members to create a personal fitness experience tailored to their needs and lifestyle providing plenty of physical, mental, and social options. Options include more than 20,000 free social events and classes, and a BrainHQ brain training program designed to improve cognitive abilities.
Members also have access to over 32,000 on-demand and live-streaming fitness classes, including platforms such as Burnalong, Les Mills On Demand, and YogaWorks.
All YMCA locations in the five-county service area (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties) currently belong to the network.
Members can create a One Pass account and get a member code for access to in-person and online programs. Eligible members can obtain more information by visiting the One Pass FAQ page or by calling 1-877-504-6830 (TTY/TDD: 711), Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
