In Pennsylvania, the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (healthcare.gov) is transitioning to a state-based exchange (SBE) for 2021 health insurance plans in the state of Pennsylvania.
Important dates
The enrollment period for 2021 HMO and PPO coverage is
November 1, 2020 – January 15, 2021.
Important coverage dates are as follows:

December 15, 2020: Enrollment deadline for coverage that starts January 1, 2021.

January 15, 2021: Enrollment deadline for coverage that starts February 1, 2021.
Starting November 1, 2020, Pennsylvania residents can purchase commercial health care coverage through the new Pennsylvania state-based exchange,
PennieTM.
Pennie replaces the federal marketplace, healthcare.gov. Your patients can now use Pennie to shop for, compare, and buy health insurance. Account information for your patients who have previously used healthcare.gov has been transferred to Pennie to allow for a seamless transition.
