Referral inquiry update
Please temporarily discontinue using member identification number as a search criteria. You can continue to search for referrals using a date range and member last name/first name, or referral number.
Referral submission update
The Facility/Provider search feature has been enhanced based on end-user feedback. You can now conduct a professional provider search by entering a group practice NPI, group practice name, or individual provider last name (specialty, city, and ZIP code fields are optional). For a facility search, you must enter the facility name or facility NPI. Optionally, you can also enter specialty, city, and/or ZIP code to narrow the search.Resolved: If your provider name is not populated in the NaviNet drop down, please be aware that this issue has been reported and is under investigation. If you are unable to issue a referral, please note that you must hold the referral until this issue is resolved. Referrals can be retroactively issued for up to 90 days from the date of service. This issue is expected to be resolved by end of day November 1.Expanded service types are now offered through referral submission, such as fracture care. For general radiology services, you may select Medical Care (Consult and Treat). Referral submission capability has been restored for OB/GYN offices.
Referral retrieval update
We ask that specialists maintain flexibility with primary care offices, as they may continue to experience referral submission issues as enhancements are moved to production.
