In mid-April, providers will see the following new transaction and
additional enhancements on the NaviNet web portal:
- New — Claims Dashboard. Claims Dashboard is a new transaction
that will allow providers to view their Accounts Receivable in a more
comprehensive manner, having access to both pended and finalized claims. A
detailed user guide will be made available prior to the release of this new
transaction. Announcements will be made on Independence NaviNet Plan Central
and on our Provider News Center once the new guide is available.
- Enhanced — Claim Log. The Claim Log transaction was introduced
earlier in 2016 and gives providers the ability to review the status of claims
submitted using the 1500 Claim Submission transaction. This transaction will be
enhanced to group error codes, where applicable, when a claim is rejected. The
new display will help providers troubleshoot rejected claims more
quickly.
A user guide for the Claim Log transaction is available in
the NaviNet
Resources section of our Provider News Center. On this site, providers can
also find the Claims Resolution Matrix (Professional), which can be used
as a reference tool to troubleshoot claims that have been submitted
electronically and rejected.
