version of the Claims Preprocessing Edits Claims Resolution Document
(10/2011) has been added to amerihealth.com. The document should be used
when trying to resolve business edit rejections for HIPAA 837P 5010
transactions.

If a HIPAA 837P 4010 transaction or paper claim has been submitted and
rejected, use the existing Claims Preprocessing Edits Claims Resolution
Document (11/2010) to help determine why it was rejected and provide a
basis for resubmitting a clean claim.
Please note that the worksheet may be updated on a regular basis to reflect new
error codes and claim resolution instructions. This document is intended to
provide guidance on current billing submission errors we have encountered.
