AmeriHealth New Jersey is pleased to offer new Medicare supplement plans D, G, and G-HD for eligible New Jersey residents. AmeriHealth New Jersey Medigap members’ benefits are effective as of January 1, 2020.

Some highlights of the plan include:

• no need to select a primary care physician
• no referrals for specialist visits
• U.S. travel coverage
• fitness reimbursement
• tobacco cessation program
• weight management program

Providers can verify the member’s appropriate copayment through the Eligibility and Benefits Inquiry transaction on the NaviNet^® web portal (NaviNet Open).

While it is not required that members visit a primary care physician to obtain other types of care, AmeriHealth New Jersey recommends that members work with a provider to coordinate their care.
