An updated Quality Performance
Measure (QPM) score program manual for measurement year 2012 is now available
on the NaviNet? web portal. The manual
provides an overview of the QPM program and describes in detail each
performance measure that is evaluated.
The QPM score program uses performance
measures based on the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set
(HEDIS?), a well-established and tested set of
performance measures. It is designed to support you in your efforts to ensure
that members receive important preventive and acute-care services and to help
you identify members who have not received these services.
