Effective November 1, 2013, AmeriHealth New Jersey will have a new policy to address reimbursement for radiology services for HMO and POS products. This new policy will allow specific provider specialties to perform various radiology services in the office.

Detailed information regarding this new policy will be reflected in Claim Payment Policy #00.01.55: New Jersey Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and Health Maintenance Organization Point-of-Service (HMO-POS) Radiology Network Rules and Limited Circumstances. This version of the policy will become effective November 1, 2013.
