Created to be mindful of budgets and provide more choice, AmeriHealth New
Jersey offers the AmeriHealth Advantage plan. AmeriHealth Advantage uses a
tiered network that has lower copayments and out-of-pocket costs for members
who utilize tier 1 providers. Tier 2 includes providers who are in AmeriHealth
New Jersey's broader, statewide Local Value Network and offers additional
in-network options with an increase in copayments and out-of-pocket costs.
For the 2018 Open Enrollment Period, AmeriHealth New Jersey will offer
AmeriHealth Advantage in 13 counties: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May,
