AmeriHealth follows the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’
National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) Code Pair Edits. These edits will be
applied to the reporting of ECG/EKG codes in conjunction with the
CPT® procedure codes reported for an evaluation or setup of a
cardiac pacemaker.
