Effective April 1, 2026, all Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for AmeriHealth HMO, Inc. (AmeriHealth) and AmeriHealth Administrators members are managed by the AmeriHealth Care Management team instead of Magellan Healthcare, Inc. (Magellan).
No action is needed for authorizations issued by Magellan prior to April 1, 2026. If a subsequent review is needed, the new request should be submitted using the ABA prior authorization form listed below.
For all requests with a date of service on or after April 1, 2026 , providers must use the ABA prior authorization form listed below.
What's new for ABA providers?
- For new requests on or after April 1, 2026, you must use the ABA prior authorization forms to submit requests:
- Fax the completed form and all supporting documents to 215-238-2500.
