Managing and accessing your EFT and 835/ERA information

As we previously communicated, AmeriHealth HMO, Inc. and AmeriHealth Insurance Company of New Jersey are moving its core business to a new claims processing platform over the next two years. AmeriHealth Administrators will continue to use its existing platform for claims processing, with enhanced capabilities to come.

As part of this transition, there will be changes to how you manage your electronic funds transfer (EFT) and 835/electronic remittance advice (ERA) information.

To view your Provider Explanation of Benefits, Provider Remittance, or Explanation of Provider Payment (for claims processed on the new platform after January 1, 2024) or paper check payments, you can continue to use the Practice Management application on the Provider Engagement, Analytics & Reporting (PEAR) portal. Select EOB & Remittance from the Transactions drop-down menu.

If you have any questions related to your 835/ERA files, please work directly with your Trading Partner.

Submitting EFT changes

As of January 1, 2024, if you need to make a change to your EFT information, please continue to complete and submit the appropriate form on the EFT Resources page. In addition, please submit your EFT changes to PNC Healthcare* via the EFT and ERA Enrollment Form to ensure your EFT transactions are appropriately handled for all our vendor platforms.

Visit our dedicated Platform Transition page frequently to stay informed on this important transition. Thank you for your continued contributions to the health and welfare of your patients, our members.

*Starting January 1, 2024, medical claim payments and remittances for members on the new platform and all capitation payments will be issued from PNC Bank's Claim Payments & Remittances (CPR) service, powered by ECHO Health.
