Behavioral health providers: Update demographics and check credentialing status

AmeriHealth HMO, Inc. and AmeriHealth Insurance Company of New Jersey (collectively, AmeriHealth) remind behavioral health providers to keep demographic information current and check credentialing status.

  • Check credentialing status and update demographics:
    Search for your name on the Find a Doctor tool.

    • If listed, you are credentialed — no need to reapply.

    • If demographic details are outdated, submit updates using the appropriate Provider Change Request form: NJ Provider Change Request or PA Provider Change Request.

    • Signing a contract with AmeriHealth does not automatically update your demographics; you must use the form.

  • Application status:
    If your name is not listed, your credentialing application is still in process. For updates, contact your Provider Partnership Associate (PPA) or email credinquiries@amerihealth.com.

    • If you are not in the Behavioral Health Network, use the PNS Contact Tool to find your PPA.

  • New or changing providers:
    If you have never been credentialed, or if you need to change your specialty, role, or region, submit a Provider Participation Form.
