AmeriHealth New Jersey:
Effective March 6, 2020, until 90 days after the end of both the Public Health Emergency and State of Emergency declared by the State of New Jersey in response to COVID-19;
- AmeriHealth Pennsylvania: Effective March 6, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
These policy changes may be re-evaluated during the public health emergency.
A preventive well visit performed through telemedicine is eligible for reimbursement for new and established pediatric and adult patients when it meets the criteria in the Medical and Claim Payment Policy News Articles.
