​​COVID-19 (Coronavirus): DME requirements reinstated

We will continue to evaluate member needs as the situation changes.

Effective July 1, 2021, AmeriHealth has reinstated requirements for members who need Durable Medical Equipment (DME). The reinstated requirements include:

  • face-to-face evaluation by a healthcare provider (through telemedicine)
  • signature and proof of delivery
