Important update: Claims runout closing

Medical claim payments via electronic funds transfer (EFT) and electronic remittance advice (ERAs) are issued through PNC Bank’s Claim Payments & Remittances (CPR) service, powered by ECHO Health.

As we bring claims run-out activities to a close, PNC ECHO is now the single source for all EFT and ERA registration and maintenance.

Providers should direct all EFT and ERA enrollments, changes, and updates directly to the PNC ECHO portal to ensure uninterrupted payment and remittance delivery.

EFT and ERA registration

To receive EFT and ERAs, providers must register directly with PNC ECHO.

All EFT and ERA setup and maintenance are completed online through ECHO Health using their Provider Portal.

Through this portal, providers can:

  • Enroll in ERA
  • Update banking information
  • Modify remittance delivery preferences

Note: There are no additional forms to submit to Independence Blue Cross or Independence Administrators for EFT or ERA enrollment or changes.
